Our Lady of Peninha Hermit

It is right in the core of the Mountain of Sintra and its access is through the road of Pena.It was built during the 14th century, but it only gained prominence by the order of the Hermit Friar Pedro da Conceição.
It’s a monument of the baroque style, where you detach a joint of blue and white tile panels from the beginning of the 18th century that represent the life of the Virgin. These go from the vault to the walls of the church’s nave until the baseboard.
